Exhausting Real Life

Life has been kind of exhausting lately hence why I haven't had anything fun to share.  No time for redecorating or fun DIY's. Still working on my throw pillows, my sewing machine has jammed up and I just haven't had the patience to fix it at the moment. Instead I'll just have one of those picture recaps of the little excitements in my past couple weeks :)

My Lulu Lemon Sea-wheeze training shorts came!! Time to start training for my 1/2 Marathon #realtalk
Book of Mormon is coming to Seattle and I snagged some presale tickets
Molly Moon's Ice Cream... enough said

Picked up Atmosphere's new album on vinyl
Grabbed beers at the Scuttlebutt Brewery with my Dad one day
My Artic Monkey tickets came in the mail.

The mail was good to me this week... I wonder what other presents I can buy myself.

Weekend Wrap Up

What a great weekend! Friday we celebrated a good friend quitting a job she was miserable at.  Happy Hour was definitely in order and I finally got to use my Kate Spade pouch that I picked up for Valentines Day. I styled it with converse and some stripes of course!

Saturday night I went with a group of girls to the Seattle T-Birds Hockey game to do my part in fundraising for the Columbia Tower Firer Fighter Stair Climb. Not usually into hockey but part of the ticket went to the stair climb!

finally rocked a fur vest!

Sunday we laid around, got breakfast at Skillet Diner on the Hill... so good ::drool::.  Then we went to dinner at Buddha Ruksa in West Seattle.  Best. Thai. Food. Ever. and I'm a huge snob when it come to Thai food after my study abroad trip.  Definitely worth the 45 min wait to be seated!  We discovered our dinner spot through Sosh.  If you live in Seattle, San Fran, or New York take a look at the website/app.  So many new restaurants and ideas all in one place!

Weekend Wrap Up

Wow what a weekend.  As a Seattleite and an avid sports fan this weekend was just UHHH-mazing. Although I love fashion all my style sense goes out the window on Sundays, August - February and I'm found wearing my Sherman Hawks Jersey.  I think I might have to pick up another jersey before next season... The city was just electric last night.

I also spent some time with my mom volunteering at Brides Against Breast Cancer.  It is a great organization that my mom and I have been involved with on and off for the past 5 years.

This bad boy also showed up in my mail box

On a whim I picked up a Michael Stars dress that was on sale on Piperlime about a month ago.  When it showed up it was the softest fabric and I knew I was hooked.  I've been on a mission to upgrade my sleeping clothes so I'm not in ratty old sorority tees and PJ bottoms.  I scored this robe at 50% off plus another 20% at check out!  I'm so glad I got it, I already see myself in it every morning.

Weekend Wrap Up

Weekends are definitely when my good eating habits go out the door. This happens for 2 main reasons.

1. Sheer laziness

2. What I was busy doing (read:drinking) the night before.

This weekend I took it easy and it showed.

A relaxing Saturday morning start

Juicing up during a Sunday stroll
shoes: Sperry's - here pants: Gap - here
watch: Michael Kors - here

New favorite treat: Juicebox Seattle. If you haven't heard about it, read about it here, here, and here. Then do yourself a favor & go check it out! I got to enjoy the Tropical Green and added a shot of Ginger.

1st Time For Everything

I daily look at fashion lifestyle blogs from all over but have struggled to find one that completely relates to the Seattle Life.

This is going to be my attempt at showing my personal style and things I love about life.
